This page explains how to delete your Hyderabad Palace account and the data attached to it.
It applies to the Hyderabad Palace app
(com.hyderabadpalacebillerica.app), published by Hyderabad Palace, 504 Boston Rd,
Billerica, MA 01821.
There are two ways to do it. Either one deletes the same data.
In the app
- Open the Hyderabad Palace app and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete account, at the bottom of the list.
- Confirm when asked. The account is deleted immediately.
By email, if you no longer have the app
You do not need to reinstall anything. Email info@hyderabadpalacebillerica.com from the address on your account, with the subject Account deletion request.
Say which email address or phone number the account uses. We use that only to find the account and confirm the request came from you.
Requests are actioned within 30 days, and normally within a few working days. We will reply to confirm when it is done.
What gets deleted
| Deleted | Kept, and why |
|---|---|
|
Your name, email address and phone number Your saved addresses Your account and its sign-in credentials The device identifier used to send you order notifications Messages you sent the shop through in-app chat |
The order records themselves, with your name and contact details removed. A shop has to keep a record of what it sold and for how much, for accounting and tax purposes. What remains cannot be traced back to you. Payment records held by Stripe, our payment processor, under their own retention rules. We never held your card details — Stripe takes payment on its own page — so there is nothing on our side to delete. |
Deletion is permanent. There is no undo, and an account cannot be restored afterwards.
If you have an order in progress, deletion is declined until that order is complete or cancelled. This is deliberate: the shop needs to be able to reach you about an order you are still waiting on. Once it is finished, try again.
